History of our Partnership
Dr. David Wagner and Dr. Dan Pinar met seven years ago when Dr. Wagner was in residency at UCLA. Dr. Wagner was looking to network with LA’s like-minded and best dentists— genuine, caring, friendly, and super talented with great practices made up of amazing patients.
Dr. Wagner reached out to Dr. Pinar and they met for dinner in West Hollywood—and immediately hit it off. They realized they share a lot of common ground—Midwest roots, the love of big city life, high ethical standards, a commitment to creating a gentle and caring patient environment, and a desire to provide nothing but the best dental care.
While Dr. Wagner went on to practice in a thriving Santa Monica office for the past 6 years, Dr. Pinar maintained his busy and successful practice in West Hollywood. Over the years, Drs. Pinar and Wagner stayed close, often meeting for dinner to catch up and “talk shop” about everything new and exciting that was happening in dentistry, and life. After Dr. McFadden’s retirement and the completion of Dr. Pinar’s new office on Beverly Boulevard, Dr. Pinar and Dr. Wagner decided it was time to join forces and establish a dental partnership.
Drs. Pinar and Wagner are excited to be practicing together, and together they will uphold the same compassionate, patient-centered approach that has always existed, and collaborate to deliver the communities of West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and beyond, a modern, individualized, caring experience.

David Wagner DDS
Dr. Wagner received his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was born and raised. Upon obtaining his dental degree, he moved to Los Angeles and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at UCLA, which focused on complex restorative dentistry, dental implants, TMJ and expertly evaluating patient's bites. Dr. Wagner then went on to complete the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum Education Program, where he further refined his in-depth understanding of the art of dental esthetics and the necessary treatment skills for optimal function and longevity.
Dr. Wagner is a member of the Spear Faculty Club, one of the world's most accomplished and complete dental continuing education resources. Spear Faculty Club was created for dentists who are one hundred percent dedicated to their patients and who work diligently to constantly improve knowledge and skills, provide patients with exceptional dental experiences, and earn the trust others have placed in them.
Dr. Wagner's interests include architecture, photography, road cycling, scuba diving, and travel. Outside the office he spends time with his partner, James, and their two yellow labs, Wriley and Champ.
